Urea
Urea (carbamide) is an organic compound extensively used in proteomics and molecular biology. Applications for urea include protein denaturation and protein refolding. .
Agarose for DNA electrophoresis
Electrophoresis is commonly used to identify and quantify nucleic acid fragments. Medicago’s Agarose for DNA electrophoresis separates nucleic acids with a larger pore size and high matrix strength, producing consistently cleaner separations compared to polyacrylamides found elsewhere on the market.
pH meter calibration kit
Medicago’s pH meter calibration kit includes three different buffer solutions of pH 4.0, pH 7.0 and pH 9.0, respectively. The kit comes delivered ready to use with pre-filled test tubes for single use and with a tube holder included.
Ionic compound reagents
Our potassium chloride reagents are used extensively in laboratories around the world. Common applications for these reagents are as pH electrode storage buffer solutions and as reference solutions for samples. Also available from Medicago are sodium chloride and sodium hydroxide reagents.
Boric acid
Boric acid is commonly used in general laboratory work, e.g. as a mild disinfection agent or in the medical field as a preservative or bactericide. Medicago’s boric acid is easy to use and delivered as tablets, which eliminates the exposure to dust in the preparation process.
